The Collective Catalogue of Algeria includes all library documents related to the sector of higher education. Its main aims are: 

• Developing  a platform that can serve as a single point of access to information resources of member libraries; 

• Identifying the documents to form a unified and standardized national bibliographic database, using the same documentation practices; 

• Locating documents of member libraries;

• Sharing information resources through ILL; 

• Creating national authority files to form a local documentary language.
