DZ.NIC is the body authorized by ICANN to manage the ccTLD .dz in Algeria.

Domain Name Records Management under .dz is an activity that was initiated by the CERIST with the introduction of Internet in Algeria in 1994. The registration with ICANN was operational in May 1995.

.dz  domain names are assigned by delegation of the domain name. The delegation is given a domain name management server "DNS".

All entities established in Algeria or having legal representation in Algeria or a document  that justify  the name property rights in Algeria can be assigned a domain name under the DZ domain.
